After local lad Christopher was first given the opportunity to work in a kitchen to pursue his passion by Head Chef Paul Flavell, at The Hollins Hey Hotel, New Brighton in 1991.
He then went on to build on his flair for creating extraordinary dishes at the five star hotel Stratford Manor in Warwickshire.
Achieving 25 years in the industry and working with some of the most renowned chefs, kitchens & hotels around the globe such as The Arkle Restaurant, Gary Rhodes at City Rhodes and The Royal Lancaster London.
During this time he went on to develop his skills with various aspects, styles and cuisines with an unstoppable drive and burning passion to produce the best, finest, dishes using only fresh, high, quality produce.
His love for travel has taken him to many incredible destinations such as Asia, North Africa and Europe. During this time he has picked up a real, authentic, flavour profile which he has transform into incredible and unique dishes.
He has bought all his passion, style and experiences back to New Brighton, his roots. Over the last 5 years he has created his vision and opened up the unique Rockwood Bistro.
